Captain Marvel: The complete Yaffa cover gallery

Here's a cover gallery of my complete run of Page Publications' Captain Marvel:

#1, c.November 1977

#2, c.June 1978

#3, c.March 1979

#4, c.July 1980

#5, c.March 1981

#6, c.May 1981

#7, c.October 1981

#8, c.February 1982

Notes:
1. The first three issues are standard/magazine-sized, the rest are digest-sized - #'s 4-6 are the 'short' scale, #'s 7-8 are the 'tall' editions.

2.I believe the dates are accurate to within a month, give or take.

3. #5 has an indicia date of 1980, but I have spotted 4 copies with a newsagency marking of 6 or June, suggesting a March release, which would date it earlier than #4 in July 1980. So, I've deemed it a March 1981, pending further information.

4. A series like this would typically end with a numbered magazine-sized reprint of the first issue, and subsequent retitled recycled issues. I have not seen any such issues for this series.

Frantic With Fear

Gredown's Frantic With Fear was published c.March 1980:

The contents:

Messenger of the Stars

Very Well Mr. Milton...

Goodbye, My Love, Goodbye, originally published in Vampirella #41, April 1975

The Make-Up

Last of his Kind!, originally published in Forbidden Worlds #115, October 1963

The Big Kill!, originally published in Out of the Night #14, April-May 1954

9th Life, originally published in Creepy Things #5, April 1976

Magic Mutt!, originally published in Unknown Worlds #10, September 1961

The Thing From The Graveyard

Once Gods Walked The Earth!, originally published in Forbidden Worlds #120, July 1964

The Burning Corpse

Only Tough Guys Get Places!, originally published in Forbidden Worlds #128, July 1965

Blood-Bath, originally published in Weird v7#7, December 1973

Notes:

1. The cover story title The Idol's Revenge does not appear in this issue. The title may be loosely based on the opening story Messenger of the Stars.

2. Many of these stories were previously published in Gredown comics: Goodbye, My Love, Goodbye in Vampirella #28; the Make-Up in Weird Tales of the Macabre #2; The Big Kill! in Vault of Demons #4; 9th Life in Vault of Demons #1; The Burning Corpse in Vault of Demons #5; and Blood-Bath in Tales of Horror #8.

3. Messenger of the Stars is illustrated - and possibly scripted - by Alfonso Aspiri, who may be best known by Australian horror comics collectors for his work appearing in Gredown's Frankestein's Nights #1 and The Horror From The Lake #1.

4. This issue is printed by Eastern Suburbs Newspapers, 77 Belmore Road, Randwick. Most of the Gredown issues I have indexed so far were published by ESN at the Joynton Road address, and appear to be from 1981 onwards. The only other Gredown issue I have identified so far to have been printed at the 77 Belmore Road address has a confirmed publication date of 1980. Besides my copy I have spotted three other copies of this issue with 6 written on the cover. It is on these sketchy details that I have ascribed a publication date of March 1980.

Update 21 March 2023: James has found another source for the cover:

I'm not sure if this is pre- or post-Frantic with Fear.
