Tales of Horror Picture Library #1: Evil Experiment

Page Publications' Tales of Horror Picture Library #1 features a cover illustrated by Keith Chatto:

The story Evil Experiment previously appeared in the UK's Sabre Thriller Picture Library #31:

And subsequently under the same - albeit recoloured cover - as Secret Service Club Library #9:

Tales of Horror Picture Library #1 is the only printing of Evil Experiment by Page Publications I have come across to date. I expect an earlier iteration with Chatto's interpretation of the Sabre Library cover to turn up eventually, and indeed to find further recyclings of this story.

Update 24 December 2024: I have just come across this issue on an eBay listing:

Clearly this is the source of the Chatto swipe. The listing says Sabre Library #73 is c.April 1975.
