This full-page in-house advertisement appears in Tip Top Comic Monthly #2 and promotes three new KG Murray titles launched c.May 1965:
World's Finest Comic Monthly, Tip Top Comic Monthly and Wonder Comic Monthly replaced the 100-page 'centurion' titles The Hundred Comic, Century Comic and Five-Score Comic Monthly. The 100-page issues had been a staple of the KG Murray lineup since 1956 and they endured until rising costs necessitated a reduction in the page count. Naturally, their once proud nomenclature had to be considered a boast from the past.
Other series such as All Star Adventure Comic, All Favourites Comic, Mighty Comic and Superman Supacomic, among others, also had their page counts reduced to 84 pages. and duly lost their "100 pages" spine long banner, however their titles, being immune to false advertising, persevered.
